PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE GOLF is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls to learn from PGA and LPGA Professionals and enjoy the game of golf. Designed to better socialize the game for junior players, the PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE features a team versus team format in a structured league that utilizes a popular scramble format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development – both on and off the course. This is a great way to get kids involved in competitive golf.

PGA Junior League includes:

  • JuniorEach travel competition is one (1) team vs team, 2- person scramble format
  • Each player receives team jersey, cap, bag tag, and golf balls
  • Weekly practice sessions at Sanctuary Lake Golf Course
  • Players will participate in 5-6 regular season competitions, with 2 or 3 away matches at other golf clubs in our league
  • Most competitions are held on Saturday around 4pm
  • The player’s families or friends provide transportation to the matches
  • Each match consists of 9-holes of scramble play and will last approximately 3 hours
  • Parents, Grandparents and friends are encouraged to come and watch all matches

League Details:

  • Ages:   Boys and Girls ages 9-13
    • A player cannot be 14 years of age prior to August 1
    • Players younger than 9 will be evaluated on skill level and course experience for inclusion in the League
  • Dates:
    • The regular league season runs from May 1 – July 31
    • Post-season qualifiers and section Championships are held in August
    • Regional Championships in September
    • PGA JGL National Championship in October
  • Try-outs may be scheduled to determine team assignments
  • All players must be able to carry or cart their own equipment, make club selections and keep score

Fee:   $200   (Includes greens fees, practice balls and practice sessions)
